1999 Best Left Unwritten

Dear Śrīla Prabhupāda,

Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet. All glories to Your Divine Grace.

I have made repeated attempts at this offering—the words that come are best left unwritten, those things that are within best remain unsaid.

Śrīla Prabhupāda, you are like the sun—self-effulgent, luminous, and unique. You cannot be eclipsed by any Rāhu, moon, or cloud. Those who would swallow you will see you emerge once again, those who impersonate you only reflect your glory, those who would cover you must shed their assets in time.

Your glory requires no artificial illumination. May your renown shine most wonderfully through the selfless and pristine service of your followers. As the monochrome sunlight manifests its inherent splendor within many-faceted gems, your greatness will be perpetuated through your pure-hearted followers—by your grace alone.

Please bless me to be the fortunate servant of such distinguished followers of your lotus feet.
